Papilla Psittadiet Baby Food

Professional baby food 29/15 is a complete and balanced food used for the manual rearing of psittacine chicks from hatching to emancipation. It is advisable not to add any type of vitamin-mineral supplement to parrots fed with Psittadiet without first consulting a veterinarian. An excess of vitamins and minerals can be detrimental to the health and well-being of the bird.

Instructions for use

As a general rule, a medium to large sized psittacine needs approximately 8-10 ml of porridge for every 100 g of its weight (1 teaspoon is equivalent to 5 ml).

Its preparation will be to mix 25% porridge and 75% mineral water.

The water has to be at a temperature between 35 ºC and 37 ºC.

- Stir until there are no lumps and let it stand for 3 minutes.

- Rectify the temperature and texture (the texture should be similar to a stirred yogurt, a little liquid).

- It is important a correct cleaning of the utensils used.

Composition

Rice (36 %), soybeans (25 %), peeled sunflower seed (10 %), (source of protein, natural oils and omega-6), dehydrated apple, grape and papaya (10 %), sunflower oil, brewer's yeast, pea (2 %), alfalfa (natural source of protein, vitamins, omega-3 and antioxidants), linseed oil, egg (0. 25 %), yucca extract, calcium carbonate, citrus juice (0.2 %), rosemary mixture and tocopherols.

Crude protein 29 %, Crude oils and fats 15 %, Crude fiber 5.5 %, Crude ash 6.5 %, Moisture 8.5 %, Calcium 1.1 % Phosphorus 0.80%.
